Thrifty Finds on Display!

I wanted to participate in Linda's Junkin Finds party so I confiscated all my thrifty finds pictures from around the house!!

I found this jar at Goodwill for $3.  It still had the HomeGoods tag on the bottom for $9.99!  I didn't have to paint it or anything!  I think it looks good next to the rooster salad plates I found at K-Mart on clearance.  In the background is the paper towel holder that I bought for $1.29 at GW.  I scrubbed it and painted it black.  I might change it to red.  Not sure!

You probably remember the Christmas tiered plate that I made from GW plates that were $1 each.

I just showed you the hurricane glass holders I made!!  Cost of $2 each before putting anything in!!!

On my mantle is a Christmas sled that was $6 at GW.  All I did was clean it and add a lttle greenery!

I think that is all that I can find right now that is new!  Please stop by ALA CARTE for Linda's Junkin Finds Friday party and Frou Frou Decor for Fabulous Friday Finds!!

I never thought about using beads. I have several and didn't want balls in all of them. Thanks for sharing and thanks for your visit.

  19. Bonnie everything looks great! And if my wreaths were in the basement, I would just be tempted to leave them there. LOL. I feel like a scrooge this year. I have not done nearly as much as I usually do. Oh well...You asked what I hang the wreaths with? I use the large command hooks, and I absolutely, positively do not recommend them! I obviously wouldn't be hanging out second story windows with a broom in my hand if they worked. I have also tried the huge suction things, they don't work either. Because my windows are double hung, I am gonna try a wreath hanger that you would use on your door. If I don't come up with something better, this may be my last year to hang them. All jokes aside, I have no idea how many times one falls during the holidays and has to be put back up. If you come up with something better, you let me know.
