Roosters Roosters Everywhere!

Today is the "Second Annual ‘Show Us Your Roosters’ Blog Party with Barb at Bella Vista!"

I went around the house gathering pictures of my roosters! I really love the symbol of country living that the rooster represents to me! I also love their vibrant colors and have tried to pull those colors through out my house. I really don't have as many roosters as everyone else but that's okay!

This guy is the main attraction when you walk into the dining room!

Here in my dining room, I have coordinating rooster pictures on each side of my china cabinet.

I also have an additional picture next to the window. On each chair I have rooster pillows that I made.

Outside on the deck, I have this guy just hanging out!

Next to the garage sale planter and candle hurricane, I put this wonderful guy! I have been watching him at Lowes for awhile now. He just came up at 50% last week so I grabbed him for $11!

I have a few here in my kitchen but since I haven't decorated yet, they look a little lost!

When I do start decorating the kitchen, I am going to make rooster curtains from this lovely fabric!

I had to go back and add these two from my powder room! First is the rooster on the shelf.

This is my rooster box that I hide extra hand towels and toilet paper!! Don't tell!

I hope you enjoyed my little rooster extravaganza and hope that you will stop by Bella Vista to see Barb and the many rooster party participants!

I can't find your orange post so I've been perusing...

My mom collects roosters minimally so I could really appreciate these. If she had more room, I'd bet she'd choose many just like yours.

Your collection is really special. Your dining room is gorgeous, and that rooster looks beautiful with the colors that you have used. I love your fabric. So lovely to meet you.

Hey Bonnie girl,
Been thinking about you because of the horrible bus accident so close to you! I googled where you are to see where it happened and it looks like its pretty close to you; my prayers to the families.
Now on a happier note, I love all your little Rooster babies! I really love that box in the powder room!
Ok now...Gloria mentioned the posts' running into the next post and overlapping and I can see it too. Don't know what's going on with blogger but it may not be visible to you, the author of the blog.
As long as I can still post and keep up with your blog, its OK:)
As you said on mine, I'd love to get together over a nice glass of wine...how many hours apart do you think we are by car?:)

Hey girl your blog is showing up beautifully!
Also wanted to say I added a bit more to my post. The reality is, I would give anything to be home doing the thing I love most...being a wife to my husband and home. You are so lucky and blessed to be able to do that in life. I pray for that day in life...
Hugs girl!
Terry
PS Lucy the chocolate factory was my fav too:) Oh and a bit of trivia; I am always called "the Lucy" in the group because I can really get into mischief:)

You have a beautifully coordinated home and wonderfully displayed roosters. It will take me a week to get around to all the parties plus 30 more from a Barn Chick party the same day. Now I see you are in something for Ugly Lamps. You know I have to look.

It only takes one rooster to make a party and you have many of the little guys running around. I love the colors of the rooster on your dining room table. Those are all the colors of fall, my favorite season of all. Your pictures are beautiful as are your pillows. Of course, we all have to have a rooster outside and yours stand proud. Thankyou Bonnie for sharing, I enjoyed the tour, Char

Bonnie, Thanks for dropping by- I know what you mean about making it to the end of the list! - I still am not done looking and commenting. I visited and know I saw your collection on the first day. I remember the fabric and that box where you keep your TP. But my comment isn't here. Blogger has not been a friend lately, as several friends have told me they hadn't heard from me for a while, yet I have left them comments.... Go figure... Anyway- just wanted to say again that I like all your roosters. The curtains you'll be making should come out adorable. I love that fabric w/the chicken wire. Hope you'll stop by again sometime. I'm always working on some project or another. LOL
Have a great weekend!
:-) Sue
